READ/Orange County has Literacy Centers located in eight OC Public Libraries branches. These centers provide specialized collections of materials for our tutors and learners. The collections are for the use of tutors and learners and are not part of the cataloged collections at the branches. These materials may be checked out using the honor system. Please return all materials to their proper place when you are finished with them. All of these materials are the property of OC Public Libraries and we ask that you do not write in them.
In addition to the centers, there are literacy books available for check out with your library card in fourteen branches of OC Public Libraries. Ask the library staff where the READ/Orange County Collections are located.

There are two rooms available. Please call the Reference Desk and select Adult Services. If you mention that you are a literacy tutor you can reserve the room for tutoring sessions. The library is open Monday through Thursday 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The library is closed Sundays and holidays.
